تصدر أطباء لحقوق الانسان تقريرا جديدا يكشف اخفاقات الجهاز الصحي التابع لمصلحة السجون الاسرائيلية وتعريضه لحياة الاسرى المضربين عن الطعام للخطر. تطالب المؤسسة باخراج الجهاز الصحي من سيطرة مصلحة السجون الى وزارة الصحة الاسرائيلية

بمناسبة حلول يوم الاسير الفلسطيني في 17 نيسان المقبل، ووقوفا عند الاضراب المطول والمتواصل عن الطعام للاسير سامر عيساوي وعدد آخر من الاسرى، وفي اعقاب استشهاد الاسير ميسرة ابو حمدية والاسير عرفات جردات، تنشر اليوم منظمة اطباء لحقوق الانسان تقرير شامل يكشف عن الفشل الاخلاقي والمهني الطبي لمصلحة السجون الاسرائيلية وجهاز الطبي التابع لها بشكل خاص وتعريضه حياة الاسرى للخطر وخضوعه المطلق لاعتبارات ادارية امنية وغير طبية مهنية او اخلاقية.

New Report: PHR-Israel Exposes Laundry List of Medical Ethics Violations Committed by the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) That Endangered the Lives of Hunger Striking Prisoners and Detainees | April 2013

Ahead of Palestinian Prisoners’ Day (April 17th) - and in light of the prolonged hunger strike currently waged by Palestinian Prisoner Samer ‘Issawi, as well as recent reports detailing the deaths of several Palestinian security prisoners - PHR-Israel releases an extensive report exposing a long list of medical ethics and human rights violations carried out by the IPS, specifically by prison medical practitioners, that endangered the lives of prisoners and detainees on hunger strike.

The Palestinian Human Rights Organisations Council (PHROC), along with Adalah, Public Committee Agains Torture in Israel and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, express their outrage at the death of Arafat Jaradat, 30, which, according tothe autopsy report of Dr Saber al-‘Aloul, Director of the Palestinian Medico-.legal Institute, was caused by torture and ill-treatment inflicted while in Israeli custody.
