Physicians for Human Rights-Israel is fighting for the medical rights of Bilal Diab and Thaer Halahala, among others, Palestinian administrative detainees in the advanced stages of a hunger strike. We are in urgent need of financial support. Following the submission of 16 court petitions on behalf of hunger strikers since January, PHR-Israel’s allotted legal funds for the year are now fully depleted.

Bilal Diab and
Thae'r Halahla, administrative detainees, are on the 41st day of their
hunger strike. Bilal Diab's medical condition is particularly serious
because he stopped drinking water on April 8.
Addameer and PHR-Israel call on the international community to intervene
and demand that Israel immediately comply with its legal obligations,
cease its policy of administrative detention and provide adequate and
trusted healthcare for all hunger striking prisoners.
