A petition submitted by several human rights organizations including Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, demanding that Karni Crossing be re-opened for passage of essential merchandise to and from the Gaza Strip was rejected yesterday by the Israeli High Court of Justice.
A coalition of Israeli human rights groups published an ad stating that the new order, which forbids Palestinians from traveling in Israeli vehicles inside the West Bank, is manifestly illegal.
